Greensboro Fellows

Greensboro, North Carolina

Program Description

The Greensboro Fellows is a nine-month spiritual and professional development program for recent college graduates. We believe that the transitional season from college to adulthood is one of the most challenging and important. Our program comes alongside each Fellow to invite the Gospel into every area of their life, equipping them to step into the fullness of life that Christ offers. We do this through community as Fellows, participating and serving in the local church, placement in strategic work environments, classes, mentorship, and so much more.

A few distinctives for our program.

Our city: Greensboro!

  • Greensboro is a mid-sized city in central North Carolina filled with great coffee, food, lakes, trees, greenways, and parks. It’s consistently ranked as one of the best places to live and raise a family in the southeast.

Church of the Redeemer

  • Church of the Redeemer is an Anglican Church that seeks to follow Jesus by being a worshipping, missional community of faith. Redeemer is home to some of the ACNA Denomination’s leaders in missions (New Wineskins), church planting (Always Forward), and the Diocese of Christ our Hope.

Seminary Classes

  • Our fellows take two seminary-level classes each semester. With Old and NewTestament courses as a fixture, fellows explore other topics with experts in the fields of Theological Ethics, Creation Theology, and Church History.

New Garden Farm

  • Church of the Redeemer has a thriving regenerative, sustainable farm thatpractices regenerative agriculture. As Fellows serve regularly at the farm, they gain a deeper understanding of God’s care for His good creation, while growing food for those in need and cultivating a vision for the renewal of all things.

Retreats

  • Greensboro is home to the Center for Creative Leadership (ranked as a top organization in the world for leadership development) which the Fellows participate in at the beginning of their time here.

  • We take retreats to the beaches and mountains of North Carolina and locally through St. Francis Springs Prayer Center. These intentional times away allow for focus on spiritual formation, our stories and where they fit in the Biblical story, silent retreat, justice, Shalom, and so much more!

Rwanda

  • At the end of the Fellows program, we travel to visit and serve with Church of the Redeemer’s sister Parish in Karangazi, Rwanda. We have the privilege to worship with brothers and sisters and experience God’s church from a global perspective.
