Orlando Heart of the City Fellows

Orlando, Florida

Program Description

Connect the dots between faith and work at the beginning of your career and discover God's redemptive purpose for your work. Orlando Heart of the City Fellows program is committed to helping shape and prepare Fellows to become Kingdom-minded individuals of character, grounded in the rhythms of a healthy Christian life and intimate relationship with Jesus. Our focus on spiritual formation and understanding the connection between faith and work will help participants practice integrating their experiences and circumstances, learning to live purposeful, flourishing lives.

As an Orlando Fellow, you will develop a more complete Christian worldview, gain practical work experience, be actively mentored, learn to live as part of a community, and experience life in the local church. Your laboratory will be a part-time professional job in your field of interest, theological coursework, discipleship, mentoring and service. Our goal is to equip you to have a thoughtful impact in the world.

A few things that make the Orlando Heart of the City Fellows program unique include a 5-day mission trip to the Dominican Republic, Christian counseling through the REST Initiative, a 3-day silent retreat, and an invitation to attend lunches with nationally renowned speakers. Oh yeah, we also like to take off every now and then for some FUN, and with the beach and theme parks in our back yard, it’s not hard to find!
