The Charlotte Fellows is a nine-month post-graduate fellowship that exists to equip recent college graduates to bring the Kingdom of God to bear in all areas of life. Charlotte Fellows graduates will complete their nine months having cultivated a much more expansive view of the Gospel, deeply impacting the ways in which they work at a career, build relationships, serve their community, and worship and serve their local church.
We are looking for young men and women - mature in their desire to know Christ - who understand that to know and enjoy God is the chief end of life but are not quite sure exactly how that truth plays out in their adult life. The Charlotte Fellows is tailored toward men and women who either feel that God is preparing them for a career in the marketplace or wrestling with calling altogether. If you've ever thought to yourself, "I desire to love Christ with my whole heart in my professional career, but I don't know what that should or could look like," the Charlotte Fellows Program was made for you.
Each Charlotte Fellow lives with a host family, works a 3-day paid internship, meets weekly with a mentor, receives professional vocational counseling and development, serves one morning every week at Brookstone School (a K-6 private Christian school for low income families),spends Friday mornings touring local non-profits that are serving Charlotte, is a part of the local church, completes 2-4 credits of graduate level coursework accredited by Reformed Theological Seminary and tailored to the Charlotte Fellows, engages in weekly Roundtable nights with community leaders from various backgrounds, engages in a weekly Fellows Bible study, and builds lasting relationships within the Charlotte Fellows community. Charlotte Fellows will also take several weekend retreats, including the National Fellows Conference in Washington D.C., and and spend a week in Chattanooga working with Hope for the Inner City, an inner-city ministry.
Our Charlotte Fellows community is made up of talented and creative people who are excited to pour into recent college grads, and Charlotte is a great city—an ideal place to spend nine months cultivating this Christ-centered foundation for your adult life. We would love to have you come for a visit to get a feel for life as a Charlotte Fellow. Looking forward to hearing from you!
