The Fellows Initiative
Privacy Policy
The Fellows Initiative ("TFI," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information you share with us — whether you're visiting our site, applying to a program, registering for an event, giving, or subscribing to our updates.
Information we collect
We may collect personal information you voluntarily provide, including your name, email address, phone number, mailing address, educational or employment information, and other details submitted through forms on our website.
When you apply to a Fellows program through the TFI Common Application, we may also collect information needed to process your application — including your education, employment interests, references, background, and program preferences.
We may automatically collect certain technical information when you visit our website, such as browser type, device type, IP address, pages visited, and general usage patterns, through cookies and similar technologies.
How we use your information
The Fellows Initiative may use the information we collect to:
- Respond to questions and requests for information
- Process Fellows program applications and communicate with applicants
- Share application information with the Fellows programs an applicant selects
- Process event registrations and communicate about TFI events and training
- Send newsletters, ministry updates, and other communications you've requested or consented to receive
- Process and acknowledge charitable donations
- Maintain and improve our website, programs, and services
- Protect the security and integrity of our website and organization
- Comply with applicable legal and regulatory requirements
TFI's Common Application currently allows applicants to select up to three programs. Information submitted through the application is provided to those selected programs.
Sharing of information
The Fellows Initiative does not sell or rent your personal information.
We may share information with Fellows programs, churches, service providers, and other organizations when necessary to provide services you've requested or to carry out TFI's operations. For example, information submitted through the TFI Common Application is provided to the individual Fellows programs you apply to.
We may also use third-party providers to support services such as website hosting, forms, email communications, event registration, analytics, and donation processing — including a third-party platform we currently use to direct online donations. These providers may process information according to their own privacy policies and terms.
Email communications
If you subscribe to TFI emails or other communications, we may use the information you provide to send you news, program information, events, and organizational updates.
You may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe option included in those communications.
Donations and payment information
When you make an online donation or payment, that information may be collected and processed by a third-party payment provider. The Fellows Initiative does not necessarily receive or store your complete credit or debit card information.
Data security
We take reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect personal information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or disclosure. No website or electronic transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Data retention
We may retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, maintain organizational records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.

Our website may contain links to Fellows programs, churches, social media platforms, donation services, registration systems, and other third-party websites. The Fellows Initiative is not responsible for the privacy practices or content of third-party websites.
We encourage you to review the privacy policies of those services before providing personal information.
