Fourth Fellows

Bethesda, Maryland

Program Description

Whole-life discipleship done by the whole church

Fourth Fellows is a nine-month Christian leadership and discipleship program for recent college graduates. We provide the opportunity to work, study, serve and connect – to build a foundational pattern that will help individuals glorify God for the rest of their lives. We do this through multiple program elements – a paid internship, graduate study at Reformed Theological Seminary, mentoring relationships, service opportunities, and friendship with other Fellows.

Fourth Presbyterian Church has a long history of ministry in the nation’s capital - we were formed here in 1828, when John Quincy Adams was the president! Our current location in Bethesda, MD, is just 9 miles from the US Capitol Building. Fourth is an accredited campus of Reformed Theological Seminary and a member of the Evangelical Presbyterian Church. Many members of Fourth work in and influence the culture of Washington, DC, making Fourth a fascinating place to worship and build relationships.

Bethesda is an interesting city in its own right - home to the National Institutes of Health (NIH), hundreds of incredible restaurants, and one of the most highly educated populations in the nation. The Capital Crescent Trail - just blocks from the church - allows commuters to easily bike, walk or jog into DC.  Bethesda is a walkable city with metro and bus stops easily accessible.
