Muncie Fellows

Muncie, Indiana

Program Description

The Muncie Fellows program is a nine-month leadership program that equips college graduates to live out their faith in every area of life. The vision of Muncie Fellows is to inspire and equip a rising generation of leaders to explore their individual calling and embrace the reality that all aspects of life is to be lived unto God.

We accomplish this vision by providing 10-12 recent college graduates an intensely practical nine-month experience designed to help them successfully bridge the transition from college to career and live lives of passion and purpose. The typical week for a Muncie Fellow includes work at a professional internship and volunteering in the community, gatherings for spiritual formation, leadership development, and theological training, and a home life with a host family in Muncie. In addition, each Fellow will be matched with a local mentor. We are committed to cultivating a strong Christian community which is promoted throughout the fellows program.

Muncie is located in the east-central part of Indiana. Situated approximately 60 miles northeast of Indianapolis, Muncie is a mid-size city (70,000) with natural scenic beauty and over 60 miles of recreational trail systems, offers a low cost of living, and plenty of options for eating and entertainment.

We acknowledge both the challenges and excitement that come with the transition after college. Muncie Fellows will complete the program having cultivated a much more expansive view of the Gospel, deeply impacting the ways in which they work at a career, build relationships, serve their community, and worship within and serve their local church.
